Bofa 4x4 is not just for the lads, it is also for the ladies too. Everybody can come and enjoy an exciting day out in a selected area of the magnificent Cannock forest, at Cannock Chase in the West Midlands.
We are privileged to be able to use a private and exclusive area of the Chase with the kind permission of the Forestry Commission.
This is a day out for all the family, even bring the dog. The terrain is very varied and is suitable for all ages, genders, and abilities. If you have a full UK driving licence and a road legal 4x4 ( not suitable for saloon car 4x4s ) then this is for you! ( There is no need for any special equipment i.e. Mud tyres, Winches or vehicle lifts). This is a family oriented leisure day, not a quarry free for all ! We care for the environment.
We meet around 0930, then off to the tranquil settings of the forest, there we cover the failed hill climb procedure for the first timers. Later in the morning we stop for a quick tea break, then lunch a bit later on, where the chat is buzzing with what the vehicles and drivers have done. The end of the day usually ends at one of the local hostelries, chatting over an (orange juice) or meal, about the fun of the day.
