As stated on the welcome page, no special equipment is required. Vehicles with road tyres cope very well , you
will be amazed what they are capable of. There is something for everyone, gentle tracks, to some that are a lot
more challenging to extreme. If there is any particular section you don’t fancy doing, that is not a problem,
there is always an alternative route. The safaris are fully escorted, to ensure that nobody gets lost.
For the novice off roaders there is always help and guidance available if required. What we are aiming for, is to try
and promote responsible off road driving, i.e. tread lightly approach, rather than boot down and give it some,
which doesn't do the terrain any good, or your motor. There are enough anti 4x4ers out there, without giving them
anymore reasons to complain..
As previously stated, this is a great family day out, fully supervised, and not a quarry type fun day.
For lunch bring sandwiches or a picnic, sorry NO BBQ’s due to forestry restrictions. At the end of the day , on your
way home, give your motor a wash off and nobody will ever know you have been off road.
